Remote Learning.
Remote Learning Support Program: The Lakeview YMCA is providing full-time child care Monday-Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm for $270/week. Program details can be found here. Contact Lamya (773-248-3333 / lcristillo@ymcachicago.org) or Jim (773-326-3008 / jjpowers@ymcachicago.org) for more information.
Computer and Headphone Distribution: Families still in need of Chromebooks or headphones for students are able to pick them up from the main entrance. Pre-registration is not required. All Peirce students should have access to a working device in order to access remote learning. Pick up any Monday-Friday from 10:00am - 1:00pm at the school's main entrance.
Supervised Learning Pods: DANK Haus is providing Supervised Learning Pods for parents in need of a safe space for their children to attend school during this phase of "virtual learning." Each pod is limited to 9 students and will serve children from 1st - 6th grade. Cost is $200/week or $40/day. Visit DANK Haus's website here for more information.
Virtual E-learning Pods: Pearachute is helping families form in-home, in-provider, and virtual e-learning pods for our school community. Many of our families have already signed up. The Learning Pods will be led by early childhood education college students who would have been spending this year as student teachers. You can learn more here, including information about financial aid. Registration requires a $100 one-time enrollment fee.

Food.
Meal Distribution: Peirce is a meal distribution site during remote learning. We are waiting to receive final details, but it will likely be similar to the spring where families were able to pick up meals Monday-Friday from 9am-1pm.
